

Meet the Owners
Mark Henderson, President
Mark brings a wide range of experience to Palladian International. He spent the first 28 years of his professional life in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Colonel. While in the Army, Mark had assignments in the Infantry, Transportation and Personnel. He commanded units at the Company, Battalion and Brigade levels and served in locales around the globe. Some of his assignments included tours of duty in Europe, Antarctica, New Zealand, and the Pentagon. Mark’s last assignment was as Deputy J4 (Transportation and Logistics) at the US Transportation Command, where he helped operate the global operations center during operations into Afghanistan.
His military awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit and the Order of St. Christopher. In 2002, Mark was selected as a Distinguished Member of the US Army Transportation Regiment.
Mark transitioned from the military to the corporate world, where he held positions of responsibility in Distribution, Operations and Transportation. In 2005, Mark helped form Palladian International. In addition to his responsibilities in the business world, Mark has served on the Greater Augusta County United Way Board of Directors, The Waynesboro Country Club Board of Directors and as Vice President, and is currently the President of the Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League, comprising teams from UVA, Virginia Tech, Duke, UNC, Georgetown, and NC State.
Mark holds a BS degree from Norwich University and a Masters from Central Michigan University. He is also a graduate of the Defense Language School (Portuguese) and the US Army War College.
Gary W. Capone, Vice President
Gary brings both a financial and an operations background to Palladian International. He started his career in accounting with Price Waterhouse as an auditor. After working with a number of manufacturing clients, Gary shifted into an engineering role with Newell Rubbermaid. Gary was responsible for implementing process improvements, including lean manufacturing principles. It was in this role that Gary managed the technical and operational facets of a plant shut-down/relocation of a 200,000 sqft manufacturing facility. Gary also held leadership positions at Target in their distribution operations. In addition to his experience in operations and accounting, Gary developed his recruiting and sales skills at Kforce and Raymond James.
Gary helped form Palladian International to leverage his industry experience and recruiting background and to help build a world-class service provider. In addition to Gary’s work at Palladian, he serves on the Board of the Blue Ridge APICS chapter and was CPIM certified.
Gary is a graduate of the Management and Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned both a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
