Palladian's 2008 Resume Benchmarking Survey  

Palladian International conducted a thorough analysis of 850 resumes to benchmark the current standard in the job market. This survey looked at four primary factors: Content, Formatting, Grammar and Structure. The benchmarking survey targeted manufacturing managers, sales managers and recent college graduates. All of the resumes examined were current resumes of active job seekers.

• Manufacturing Managers - Palladian targeted plant managers and operations managers within manufacturing. Most of the resumes examined represented individuals with 10-25 years of experience within the manufacturing field.
• Sales Managers - Palladian targeted sales managers and sales VP's within industrial and consumer products manufacturing companies. Most of the resumes examined represented individuals with 10-25 years of experience within the sales field.
• Recent College Graduates - Palladian targeted the resumes of new college graduates who were pursuing their first position after graduating with a Bachelor's degree.
